This noble vine has a very long history that seems to start from the Middle East over two millennia ago. Introduced in Ticino Agriloro the second half of the 1980s, it has adapted very well to the terroir of Monte San Giorgio and the Tenimento dell'Ör, giving wines of excellent structure characterized by intense spicy notes.
